E-LEARNING INTERESTS

(ON MICRO-MODULE DEVELOPMENT)

Dr. Wong has obtained numerous grants in MMCD / E-learning development and research and her experience and current work includes:

  • Use of video vignettes and blended learning for clinical communication – involving e course, e-assessments, roleplays and discussion workshops

  • Development of technology for student support (Medical Glossary in English, Cantonese and Putonghua)

  • Use of technology in assessment (OSCE)

  • Use of technology in community teaching (U-connect) 

  • E- course in Blended learning in social responsibility

Dr. Wong contributes to the progress, development and sustainability of MMCDs as learning tools. 

EDUCATIONAL INTERESTS

Curriculum Design and Assessment, blended learning, use of technology in teaching  and research in E-learning.

Interdisciplinary and longitudinal approach to learning, remedial counselling and mentoring, professionalism and student wellbeing.
